[FULL VIEW FOOLS]

Well, I finally finished it. The first in a series of circular portraits of Chrono Cross characters I plan to do. The first one is Serge, the silent protagonist from the game. C: I used a heavy sea theme with him, and the Frozen Flame, since those things are associated with him (and his dead self) quite a lot in the game.

I was going for a kind of art nouveau feel, but it kind of strayed a little in the end.

I did a lot of reworking and removing of lineart. His hair was a major hassle to fix and remove line art from, as well as the positioning of his eye. By the gods, I even shortened his hair cuz it kind of looked like a mullet in the original sketch. I am particularly proud of the bandana's folds, and was surprised that I could accomplish the underwater scene in the outer ring.

So, yeah. My Chrono Cross obsession still burns within me... hope you all like this piece.
